Deborah L. Spears, age 66, of Logan, Ohio, passed away Sept. 9, 2020 at her residence.
Deborah was born Feb. 26, 1954 in Columbus, Ohio to Charles L. Slack and Edith Kennard. She enjoyed throwing horseshoes, mushroom hunting, playing cards, playing slot machines, and scratch off tickets.
Surviving are her children, Carisa (Jeff) Knox, Eugene (Penny) Spears, Brian Spears, Aryeah Spears, and Eric Spears; several grandchildren; several great- grandchildren; brother Randy Slack; half-brother Kelly Kennard; sister Carla Slack; half-sister Teri Brown; many friends; and her dogs, Brutus & Oscar.
Deborah was preceded in death by her parents, Charles L. Slack and Edith (Larry) Kennard; husband Earl Spears; brothers, Mike Slack, Jeff Slack, and Scott Kennard; sisters-in-Law, Vickie & Connie; and brother-in-law Timothy Spears.
Funeral services were held at 11:00 A.M., Monday, September 14, 2020 at the Heinlein-Brown Funeral Home, Logan, Ohio. Burial was in Knollwood Cemetery, Logan, Ohio.
Calling hours were observed from 10:00-11:00 A.M. on Monday at the funeral home.
