Annetta Jo “Jody” Cook, age 56, of Nelsonville, Ohio, passed away May 29, 2020 at O’Bleness Hospital, Athens, Ohio.
Jody was born August 27, 1963 in Nelsonville, Ohio. She worked 25 years at Kroger in Logan, Ohio.
Surviving are her husband of 36 years Terry Cook; daughter Jennifer Cook of Nelsonville; grandson Trenton Phillips; parents Oscar and Judy Dickerson of Nelsonville; sister Darla (Mike) Meyer of Newark; mother-in-law Kay Cook of Starr; several nieces and nephews; and extended family and friends.
Jody was preceded in death by her grandparents; father-in-law Paul Cook; and uncle, Richard Rizer.
Graveside services were held at 12 Noon on Saturday, June 6, 2020, at Greenlawn Cemetery, Nelsonville, Ohio with Rev. Mike Thomas officiating.
A walk thru viewing was held Friday, June 5, 2020 from 2-4 and 6-8 pm at the Warren Brown Funeral Home, Nelsonville, Ohio. Visitors are asked to make a brief walk thru the funeral home to honor Jody, then exit so others can walk thru. A limited number of people will be allowed in the funeral home at a time. Masks and social distancing are strongly encouraged.
