Boyd L. Stover, age 68, of Logan, Ohio formerly of Haydenville, passed away June 12, 2022, at Embassy of Logan.
Boyd was born May 6, 1954, in Nelsonville, Ohio to Raymond M. Stover and Mary Jane Justice Stover. He formerly worked at Metalbestos in Logan; formerly worked at Sech-Kar; loved to travel; loved to gamble and loved buffets.
Surviving are his sister, Mary Ann (Bob) Russell of Haydenville; and nieces and nephews, Mary Jo Dearing, Diana (Eric) Dearing, Molly (Jeff) Detty, Raymond (Kim) Dearing, Ciara (Will) Dunkle, R.J. Dearing, and Brantley Greene.
Boyd was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Raymond Junior Stover; sister, Betty Stover Hicks; and brother-in-law, Walter Lee Hicks.
Funeral services were held at 3 P.M., Sunday June 19, 2022, at the Haydenville United Methodist Church with Rev. Dr. Randy Hardman officiating. Burial will be at a later date in Carbon Hill Cemetery.
Calling hours were observed 1-3 pm Sunday at the church.
