Brenda Kay Downs, age 64, of Logan, Ohio, went to be with her Lord, on September 2, 2021.
Brenda was born September 23, 1956, in Nelsonville, Ohio to Robert L. and Clara E. Flood. She was a 1975 graduate of Logan-Hocking High School; member of Gateway Outreach Ministries; worked for Logan-Hocking Schools for 30 years; love reading, swimming, and spending time with grandchildren and family; and had a heart for young people and was a mother to hundreds of children throughout her life.
Surviving are her husband of over 46 years, Don Downs; children, Melissa (Nate) Atkins, Cara (Jacob) Bookman, and Joseph Downs, all of Logan; grandchildren, Kallie Atkins, Cainan Bookman, Caprice Bookman, and Jax Call; brother Ronald (Vicky) Flood of Logan; sister Carolyn (Rodney) Lehman of Logan; and many nieces and nephews.
Brenda was preceded in death by her parents.
Private graveside services were held.
