Carol Jane Turner

Carol Jane Turner, age 62, of Logan, Ohio, passed away September 8, 2021 at The Pickering House, Lancaster, Ohio.

She was born May 9, 1959 to Charles and Julia Coakley of Logan. Carol was married 38 years to Michael W. Turner of Logan, Ohio. 

Carol enjoyed being a homemaker, sharing her love of the color yellow, butterflies, her extended collection of Rudolph the Red-nosed reindeer, and her favorite wrestler, The Undertaker.   

Besides her mother and husband, Carol is survived by one daughter, Misti (Jason) Gentzel of Logan; one son Michael Scott Turner of Lancaster; siblings, Willie (Debbie) Coakley, Julie (Lee) Tucker, Norma Cameron, Charlie Coakley, Cindy & Mark Denoyer, Rob & Tamii Coakley, Connie & Jim McGomery, George Coakley, and Sharon & Mike Weaver; grandsons, Wesley Chaney of Columbus, Drake Turner of Logan, Jamison, Derek, Justin, and Josiah Gentzel all of Logan; and one very special granddaughter Savennah Gentzel also of Logan; and her fur baby, Oscar.

Besides her father, Carol was preceded in death by her twin sister Cheryl Kuhn and Cheryl’s husband Bob Kuhn.

Funeral services were held at 1:00 P.M., Monday September 13, 2021, at the Heinlein-Brown Funeral Home, Logan, Ohio.  Burial was in Shaw Cemetery, Logan, Ohio.

Calling hours were observed on Monday 11 am – 1 pm at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to the funeral home to help with funeral expenses.
