Carolyn L. Fletcher, age 68, of Nelsonville, Ohio, passed away August 1, 2020 at her residence.
Carolyn was born July 15, 1952 in Athens, Ohio to Okay and Darcuis Murphy. She was a member of the former Baptist Church in Nelsonville, Ohio.
Surviving are her husband of 40 years, Charles Fletcher; sons, Charles (Tammy) Perry of Zaleski and Ricky Lee Perry of Athens; step-children, Kris Metcalf of Lancaster and Jaala Perry of Nelsonville; several grandchildren; and siblings, Bettyn McGraph of Lancaster, Elizabeth Chambers of Bremen, Phyllis Brooks of Athens, Henry Murphy of Somerset, Phil Brooks of Athens, John Murphy of Athens, and Linda Lowry of Columbus.
Carolyn was preceded in death by her parents; son Joey Perry; step-son James Robert Fletcher; and several sisters.
Funeral services were held at 4:00 P.M., Wednesday, August 5, 2020 at the Warren-Brown Funeral Home, Nelsonville, Ohio with Stan West officiating.
Calling hours were observed 2-4 p.m. on Wednesday, August 5, 2020 at the funeral home.
Masks and social distancing were required.
