Charles N. Thompson, age 75, of Nelsonville, Ohio, passed away September 2, 2021 at Hocking Valley Community Hospital, Logan, Ohio.
Charles was born December 23, 1945, in California. He worked for 22 years as a Tactical Telecommunications Center Operator for the Army. Charles loved spending time with his adoptive family.
Charles is survived by his adoptive grandchildren, Lisa (Pat Pidcock) Carter, Kimberly (Bobby Whiteside) Carter, Jamie Carter, Bradley Carter, Brandie Carter, and Andrew Carter; adoptive great-grandchildren, Michael Pidcock, Joshua Pidcock, Katie Pidcock, Cody Pidcock, Lillian Pidcock, Austin Carter, Skylair Carter, Rainley Carter, Ricky Carter, Landen Carter, Emily Carter, Savannah Carter, Marie Whiteside, Bobby Whiteside, Dillion Gallager, and Tylynn Carter.
Private Veteran services were held at Warren-Brown Funeral Home, Nelsonville, Ohio with cremation following.
