Clifford A. Crawford, age 95, of Logan, Ohio, went into the loving arms of his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ making his faith complete on Monday morning, January 4th, 2021 at his residence, surrounded by his family.
Clifford was born May 7, 1925 on The Crawford Farm in Hocking County to Zora A. Crawford and Florence E. Walker Crawford. He was a 1943 graduate of Rockbridge High School; lifetime member of the Fairview United Methodist Church and attended the Trinity Lutheran Church; retired from GE in Logan after 34 years; was a fulltime farmer; former trustee at the Fairview United Methodist Church; and member of the Hocking County Farm Bureau.
Surviving are his wife of 67 years, Martha J. Crawford, married on June 12, 1953; children Sharon (Matt) Hardman of Logan, Karen (Joel) Barkhurst of Logan, Dan (Theresa) Crawford of Rockbridge, and Steve Crawford of Logan; grandchildren, Tanna (Robert) Sigler of Logan, Janna (Dan) Johnson of Logan, Jesse (Laura) Barkhurst of Logan, Faith (Christopher) Johnson of Logan, Hannah (Nathan) Hoch of Oxford, Olivia (Aaron) Shafer of Lancaster; 13 great-grandchildren; and brother Rev. Roy Crawford of Chillicothe.
Clifford was preceded in death by his parents; brothers Kenny Crawford and Harold Crawford; and sisters-in-law, Gaynell Crawford, Joaquin Crawford, and Betty Crawford.
Funeral services were held at 11 am Saturday, January 9, 2021, at Fairview United Methodist Church with Rev. John Williams and Rev. Bev Stahr officiating. Burial was in Fairview Cemetery, Rockbridge, Ohio.
Calling hours were observed Friday 5-8 pm at the Heinlein-Brown Funeral Home in Logan, Ohio, and one hour prior to the service at the church on Saturday.
Masks and social distancing are required to attend the calling hours or funeral.
