David Paul Boley

David Paul Boley, age 77, of Rockbridge, Ohio, passed away July 17, 2021, peacefully after a long 2 year battle with cancer at his home in Rockbridge, Ohio.

David was born February 22, 1944 in East Liverpool, Ohio to Paul and Dorothy Boley. David started his career in life in the Navy and served in the Vietnam War. Then, after the Navy, he transferred to the Airforce Reserve for over 19 years as a hydraulics specialist. Finally, after serving for the reserve, he worked for 16 years for the Department of Defense Logistics Agency. David was a proud member of the NRA and VFW. Whenever David had free time and through his retirement, he enjoyed hunting, intricate woodworking of models, and his motorcycle.

Surviving are his best friend and life partner of 31 wonderful years, Mary Dotson; daughters, Lisa (Jeff) Starling and Pamela Waissbluth; sister, Carolyn Buck; 3 grandsons; 1 granddaughter; many close nieces and nephews; and special friends, Pat and Sharon Vaeth.

David was preceded in death by his parents, Paul and Dorothy Boley.

Funeral services were held at 2:00 P.M., Wednesday July 21, 2021, at the Heinlein-Brown Funeral Home, Logan, Ohio. Burial and veteran services followed at Knollwood Cemetery, Logan, Ohio.

Calling hours were observed between 12:00 – 2:00 P.M. on Wednesday July 21, 2021.
