David R. Freer, age 61, of Nelsonville, Ohio, passed away May 23, 2020 at his residence.
David was born November 20, 1958 in Nelsonville, Ohio to James Freer and Norma (Orahood) Freer. He was a member of the VFW auxiliary and the ELKS.
Surviving are children, Jessica (Jeromy) Malone and James (Misty) Freer; grandchildren, Ethan and Emily Malone and Alexis and Alivia Freer; step-grandchildren, Kyle and Nathan Davis and Brianna and Mikayla Vanpelt; brothers, Mike (Peggy) Freer, Von Godenschwager, and George (Jolene) Godenschwager; many neices and nephews; and good friend Wes Ray.
David was preceded in death by his parents; and siblings, Jeffery Freer, Christine Lehman and Steve Freer.
Graveside services were held at 1:00 P.M., Friday, June 5, 2020 at the Greenlawn Cemetery, Nelsonville, Ohio with Rev. Dr. Randy Hardman officiating.
Calling hours were held from 11:30 am to 12:45 pm at Warren-Brown Funeral Home before going in procession to the cemetery.
