Erma Dane, age 88, of Carbon Hill, Ohio, passed away April 14, 2021 at Hocking Valley Community Hospital, Logan, Ohio.
Erma was born April 24, 1932 in Sand Run, Ohio to Calvin and Margaret Christian Williams. She was a 1949 graduate of Carbon Hill High School; and retired from Goodyear in Logan.
Surviving are her daughter Debbie Dane of Carbon Hill; son Jeff (Susan) Dane of Carbon Hill; grandchildren, Chelsie Dane (Chris Hoag), Tiffani Culbertson, and Kylie (Jason) Lanthorn; great-grandchildren, Mikayla Dane, Derrick & McKenna Looney, Zane & Zaraya Bailey, and Riley & Harper Hoag; brothers-in-law, Keith Dane of Carbon Hill, and Delbert Smith of Haydenville; sister-in-law Mary Lou Dane of New Plymouth; and good friend Clara Krannitz of Logan.
Erma was preceded in death by her parents; husband, who she married December 24, 1951, Estel Dane, who passed away January 31, 2013; and all of her siblings, Helen Proctor, Eva Freeman, Calvin Williams, Roger Williams, Bob Williams and Clint Williams.
Graveside services were held at 1:00 pm, Monday April 19, 2021 at the Carbon Hill Cemetery, Carbon Hill, Ohio.
