Fred Eugene Willison, age 72, of Nelsonville, Ohio, passed away March 29, 2022, at O’Bleness Hospital, Athens, Ohio.
Fred was born October 23, 1949, in Columbus, Ohio to Marion Fred and Doris Willison. Fred loved junking, mud running, fishing, skating, going to the movies, bon fires, and chasing women.
Surviving are his children, Sandra Willison-Carpenter, Teresa (Chad) Willison-Hale, Fred “Dink” (Priscilla “Rocky” McGrath) Willison Jr, Jessica “Jess” Willison, and Carol Jane Davis; brother, Art Willison and John (Patty) Willison; sisters, Ruth Jackson and Carolyn (Bobby) Sizemore; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Fred was preceded in death by his parents, Fred and Doris Willison; sister, Mona Heightland; and brother Jim Willison.
Funeral services were held at 2:00 P.M., Thursday March 31, 2022, at the Warren-Brown Funeral Home, Nelsonville, Ohio with Rev. Dr. Randy Hardman officiating. Burial was at Greenlawn Cemetery, Nelsonville, Ohio.
Calling hours were observed 1:00 – 2:00 P.M. on Thursday March 31, 2022, at the funeral home.
