Gideon Sharb, age 91, of Logan, Ohio, passed away September 27, 2021 at Hocking Valley Community Hospital, Logan, Ohio.
Gideon was born June 18, 1930 in Haydenville, Ohio to Oprea Sharb and Marie Ardelen Sharb. He was a Logan High School graduate; served in the US Army; and formerly owned and operated an Office Supply Store in Logan.
Surviving are his wife of 69 years Kathryn Louise Sharb; children, Pamela Marie (Steve) Harden of Logan, Lydia Jane (Mike) Justice of Lancaster, Paula Louise (Ron) Dunfee of Guysville, Gideon Phillip Sharb of Logan, Jeffery Scott (Linda) Sharb of Logan, and Jason J. (Angie) Sharb of Powell; 13 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
Gideon was preceded in death by his parents; and siblings Victor Sharb, George Sharb, Virginia Champ, James Sharb, Virgil “Jack” Sharb, and Mary Ann Brown.
