Gussie W. Anderson, age 91, of Rockbridge, Ohio, passed away July 20, 2021, at Carriage Court of Lancaster, Lancaster, Ohio.
Gussie was born September 18, 1929, in Deming, New Mexico to Carl W. Brussel and Marietta Brussel. She retired from the Army and Air Force Exchange; and was a lifetime member of the Ohio Horseman Council (Hocking County).
Surviving are her sons, Raymond (Alice) Harris of Ashville, AL, Richard D. Harris of Logan, OH, and Johnny (Danna) Torres of Plattsmouth, NE; step-children, Danny L. (Pam) Anderson of Rockbridge, Donnie E. Anderson of Rockbridge, and Janet L. (Stephen) Six of Rockbridge; grandchildren, Matthew K. (Chris) Harris of Ashville, AL, Robert D. Harris of Logan, Randolph D. Harris of Canal Winchester, Russel D. Harris of Atlanta, GA, and Heather Jean (Eric) Tully of Lawrenceville, GA; 9 step-grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; 29 step-great-grandchildren; 12 step-great-great-grandchildren; and brother, Frank R. (Joy) Brussel of Kendalia, TX.
Gussie was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Carl E. Anderson; son, Robert D. Harris; daughter-in-law, Jackie Harris; step-daughter-in-law, Candy Anderson; brothers, Thomas M. Heymam and Carl A. Brussel; and grandson, Raymond D. Harris.
Calling hours were observed 2-4 and 6-8 P.M. on Monday, July 26, 2021, at the Heinlein-Brown Funeral Home, Logan, Ohio.
