Harold W. Neely

Harold W. Neely, age 82, of Lancaster, Ohio, passed away October 30, 2020 at Arbors at Carroll, Carroll, Ohio.

Harold was born April 8, 1938 in El Paso, TX to Buchanan K. and Bernice Neely. He enjoyed trapshooting and is in the New Mexico Trapshooting Hall of Fame. He was also a lifelong farmer in La Mesa, New Mexico until he retired in 1993.

Surviving are his wife of 44 years, Donna Neely; children, Jeannette (Tim) Perkins, Brenda (Rudy) Volpe, Barbara Neely, and Harold “Bill” (Cindy) Neely; special step children, David (Socorro) Heft, Debbie (Brian) Benson, Pamela (Heft) Benson, Diana (Robert) Ward; four grandchildren; 9 step-grandchildren; 15 step-great-grandchildren; 4 step-great-great-grandchildren; special nephew, Lonnie (Nadine) Mahres; special nieces, Nancy (Chris) Shelley and Carol (Charles) Parker; and ex-son-in-law, Terry Nelson.

Harold was preceded in death by parents; and siblings, Ola “Faye” Mahres, Floyd Neely, and Kenneth Neely.

A graveside service will be held at a future date at Oak Grove Cemetery, Logan, Ohio with Rev. Kermit Welty officiating.
