James Azbell, age 47, of Rockbridge, Ohio, passed away May 8, 2021 at Hocking Valley Community Hospital, Logan, Ohio.
James was born November 6, 1973 in Lancaster, Ohio to Wayne and Opal Azbell. He loved to spend time with his grandchildren and enjoyed farming the land.
Surviving are his wife of 17 years, Teresa Azbell; sons, Nathan (Sabrina) Azbell and Dustin (Karri Ragland) Azbell; grandchildren, Izeyah, Blake, Gavin, Carlee, Charlee, Marley, and Aidrick; siblings, Ev (Aaron Proctor) Sturms, Randy (Brenda) Azbell, Mike Azbell, Danny Azbell, Sandy (Dave) Siefert, Wayne Azbell Jr., Nancy Azbell, and Emmet Azbell; many nieces and nephews, and great-nieces and great-nephews; and best friend Dwayne Kitchen and so many more friends.
James was preceded in death by his parents, Wayne and Opal Azbell; brother Larry Azbell; sister-in-law Candy Azbell; and his dog Jumping Jack.
Funeral services were held at 11:00 am, Saturday, May 15, 2021 at the Heinlein-Brown Funeral Home, Logan, Ohio with Rev. John Williams officiating.
Calling hours were observed on Friday, May 14, 2021 from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm, and Saturday, May 15, 2021 from 10:00 am to the time of service.
