Joseph C. Lewis, age 76, of Logan, Ohio, passed away January 1, 2021 at Hocking Valley Community Hospital, Logan, Ohio.
Joseph was born July 21, 1944 in Louisville, Kentucky to Melvin Handy Lewis and Henrietta Mae Lewis. He attended the First Baptist Church and loved being at the Hocking Hills Day Care.
Surviving are his brother John Melvin (Nancy) Lewis; nieces and nephews, John Kevin (Ellen) Lewis of Apoka, FL, William Todd (Donna) Lewis of Shepherdsville, KY, Judy Ann (Donald Jr.) Locke of Thornton, CO, Sherri Jo Lewis (Thomas) Bailey of Albuquerque, NM, Diane (Mike) Dunn and Anita (Eric) Wollen; and sister-in-law Leona Lewis.
Joseph was preceded in death by his parents and his brother Orville Lewis.
Funeral services were held at 11:00 A.M., Thursday, January 7, 2021 at the Heinlein-Brown Funeral Home, Logan, Ohio. Burial was in Chestnut Grove Cemetery, Vinton County, Ohio.
Calling hours were observed on Thursday, January 7, 2021 from 10:00 A.M. to time of service.
