Judith Irene Norris, age 76, of Nelsonville, Ohio, passed away January 3, 2022 at O’Bleness Hospital, Athens, Ohio.
Judith was born July 12, 1945, in West Virginia to Sanford Elmer and Vera Elaine Gregory. She graduated from Warren Local High School and Hocking College. Judy Enjoyed many things, but most of all was being with her family and her friends at Kimberly Meadows.
Surviving are her children, David Gregory of Columbus, Melissa Gregory Shows of Rittman, Gary Norris of Nelsonville, Terry Norris of Glouster, Lynne Norris of Nelsonville, and Stephanie Norris of Taylorsville, NC; nieces, Debbie Buchman of Lowell, Ohio, Barbara Bender Vaquilar of Glendora, CA, and Stacy Bearup of Moundsville, WV; grandchildren, Chris Norris, Destiny Norris, Joey Daniels, Josh Daniels, Amy Shows, Nicholas Shows, and Kristen Shrive; great-grandchildren, Garrett Shrive, Kinley Shrive, and Mitchel Shrive; and brother Sam (Libby) Gregory of Belpre.
Judith was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Donald Bender, Joe Gregory, and Jim Gregory; half-brother, Roger Immel; and niece, Kathy Bender.
Funeral services were held at 10:30 A.M., Saturday, January 15, 2022, at the Warren-Brown Funeral Home, Nelsonville, Ohio with Rev. Dr. Randy Hardman officiating. Burial was in Greenlawn Cemetery, Nelsonville, Ohio.
Calling hours were observed 4-7 P.M. Friday, January 14, 2022, at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to funeral home to help with funeral expenses.
