Karen Joy King, age 78, of New Straitsville, Ohio, passed away May 9, 2021 at Mt. Carmel East Hospital in Columbus, Ohio.
Karen was born April 7, 1943 in Georgetown, Ohio. She formerly worked at C. E. Glass in Lancaster, and Metalbestos in Logan.
Surviving are her husband of almost 36 years, Gary King of New Straitsville; daughter Michelle (Dave) Arledge of Logan; sister Mona Lisa (Bob) Cornwell of Delaware; and grandchildren, Kiersten Arledge of Bowling Green and Keiton Arledge of Logan.
Karen was preceded in death by her father Albert; mother Freda Wells Walston; sons, Jeff Irvin, and Danny Irvin; and sister Janie Walston.
There were no services. Arrangements are by Heinlein-Brown Funeral Home in Logan, Ohio.
