Marvin Bell

Marvin “Toby” Bell, 77 years old, of Nelsonville, Ohio passed away May 13, 2018 at his home surrounded by his wife of 19 years and his step-children. He was the son of Lawrence and Emogene (Adams) Bell. Toby was raised in Chauncey, Ohio and always stated there was no other place he would have wanted to live. Toby was a truck driver for 55 years. Working off and on for Huntley Trucking Company. He loved his friends, Steven Jetti and Lee Huntley and the guys at the garage, that helped him when he was in failing health. He also worked for Cochran Transportation and All Star Transportation in Clearwater, FL. Toby is survived by his wife, Carolyn (Robinson) Bell; sons, Mike Bell of the Plains and Chris Bell of Sarasota, FL; his first wife, Anita Bell, who is the mother of his two boys. Also his second family, David and Randy Bell; daughter, Cheri Witford; step-children, Tracy Gillum, Teresa Cain, Larry and Alicia Cain, and Eric and Heather Cain; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; niece, Kelly Weld; nephew, Gary Bell; and many friends to numerous to list. Toby was preceded in death by his parents; and brother, Charley Bell. Funeral services were held Friday, May 18, 2018 at 8:00 pm at Warren-Brown Funeral Home, Nelsonville, Ohio with Pastor Peter Galbraith officiating. Calling hours were held Friday, May 18, 2018 from 4:00 pm to time of service at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the funeral home to help with funeral expenses. The family would like to send a special thanks to Ohio Health Hospice and South Eastern Ohio Health in Logan, Ohio.
