Mildred Irene Hoy, age 87, of Logan, Ohio, passed away January 2, 2021 at her daughter’s residence, Logan, Ohio.
Irene was born April 28, 1933 in Kenna West Virginia to Troy Fields and Teresa Adams Fields. She retired from Huntington Bank after 33 years; member of the Moose Lodge and the Amvets.
Surviving are her husband of 51 years, Jerry Hoy; daughters, Sandy (Dave) Jablonski of Dublin, and Cherie Sharp of Logan; grandchildren, Melissa Sharp, and Russell Sharp II; 4 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; sister Rita Spring of Nelsonville; and step-children, Kimberly Hoy, Shelly Carr, and Lisa Shaw.
Irene was preceded in death by her parents; brother Paul Fields; and sisters, Ruth Higgins, Ann Arment, and Mona Wolfe.
Funeral services were held at 12 noon, Wednesday, January 6, 2021 at the Heinlein-Brown Funeral Home, Logan, Ohio with Randall Minton officiating. Burial will be in Knollwood Cemetery, Logan, Ohio.
Calling hours were observed on Tuesday 5-7 pm at the funeral home.
