Nancy E. Garrett, age 72, of Rockbridge, Ohio, passed away May 23, 2022, at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, Columbus, Ohio.
Nancy was born September 2, 1949, in Logan, West Virginia to John and Edna Ferrell. Nancy loved going to lunch with her friends and traveling to see the world.
Surviving are her sons: James (Melissa) Garrett, Bill (Amy) Garrett, Raymond (Emily) Garrett, Thomas (Adela) Garrett, and Jason Dolby; 10 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren, with 1 on the way; brother, John (Dreama) Ferrell; nephews, John and Jesse Ferrell; friends, Charlotte Shaw, Debbie Thomson, and Sandi Vermillion; and dog, Sophie.
Nancy was preceded in death by her husband of 45 years, Raymond F. Garrett; parents, John and Edna Ferrell; and sister, Dorothy “Dottie” Payne.
Calling hours were observed 4:00 – 7:00 P.M. on Thursday May 26, 2022, at the Heinlein-Brown Funeral Home, Logan, Ohio.
Funeral services were held at 7:00 P.M., Thursday May 26, 2022, at the Heinlein-Brown Funeral Home, Logan, Ohio with Mike Martin officiating. Cremation will follow the services.
