Patricia A. Anderson

Patricia A. Anderson, age 82, of Lancaster, Ohio, passed away June 27, 2022, at the Primrose Memory Care facility in Lancaster, Ohio.

Patricia was born on June 8, 1940, in Franklin County to Roy and Clysta Dicken. She graduated from Starr-Washington High School, Union Furnace, Ohio on May 22, 1958, and started her career at Smead Manufacturing in Logan, Ohio. She transitioned to working at Selkirk Metalbestos as an inside sales representative for many years but returned to Smead Manufacturing where she retired in 2001.

She raised her children and served the Lord as a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church in Logan, Ohio and was most recently a member of St. Matthew’s Lutheran Church.

Her passions in life consisted of loving and taking care of her children and grandchildren first and foremost, flower gardening, taking care of her home and lawn, walking, and finding creative ways to grow financially.                              

Surviving are her daughters, Crystal (Gerald) Patton of Logan and Carol (Chris) Rouser of Lancaster; grandchildren, Ryan Patton, Andrew Rouser, and Samantha Rouser; brothers and sisters, Lowell Dicken of Carroll, Sharon Fraizer of McArthur; Jim (Brenda) Dicken of Jackson, Larry Dicken of Logan, Debra (Randy) Sinnott of Logan; and Chris (Linda) Dicken of Logan; several nieces and nephews, including a special niece Karin (John) Moughler of Tennessee.

Patricia was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Edward H. Anderson, who passed in 2013; sister, Charlene Dicken; brother, Curtis Dicken; brother-in-law, Jim Fraizer; and father and mother-in-law, Herman and Mildred Anderson.

Funeral services were held on Saturday, July 2, 2022, at 1:00 pm at the Heinlein-Brown Funeral Home, Logan, Ohio. Burial was in Oak Grove Cemetery, Logan, Ohio.

Calling hours were observed on Friday, July 1, 2022, from 2:00 to 4:00 pm and 6:00 to 8:00 pm at the funeral home.
