Phillip R. “Rick” Michel, age 65, of Logan, Ohio, passed away September 29, 2021 at Residence, Logan, Ohio.
Rick was born January 23, 1956, in Logan, Ohio to Phillip L. and Audrea Michel. He was a 1973 graduate of Starr-Washington High School; attended OSU; and retired from the Southeastern Correctional Institute.
Surviving are his mother, Audrea Michel; special friend, Sharon Powell; aunts, Tonya Tolliver and Sandra Grave; uncles, Ralph Michel and Ernest Michel; and many, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Rick was preceded in death by his father, Phillip L. Michel.
Funeral services were held at 1:00 P.M., Monday, October 4, 2021, at the Heinlein-Brown Funeral Home, Logan, Ohio with Bishop Mark Holdcroft officiating. Burial was in Oak Grove Cemetery, Logan, Ohio.
Calling hours were observed on Monday from 11 am to time of service.
