Phyliss Marie Koska, age 73, of Logan, Ohio, passed away June 7, 2022, at her residence.
Phyliss was born January 16, 1949, in Bluefield, West Virginia to Earnest Perkins and Phyliss Eleanor Perkins.
She was a member of the Nelsonville-York High School Class of 1967; member of St. Matthew Lutheran Church; and worked as a local florist.
Surviving are her husband of 53 years, Danny Koska; daughter, Cathy (Andrew) Wuertzer of Pataskala; son Danny Jay (Tina) Koska of Logan; grandchildren, Danny Koska of Albany, Charles Koska of Logan, Ryan Wuertzer of Abilene Texas, Ethan Wuertzer of Pataskala, and Sydney Wuertzer of Pataskala; siblings, Eugene Perkins and Gary Arnold; and many nieces and nephews.
Phyliss was preceded in death by her parents and siblings, Ernie Perkins, Sherman Perkins, Jimmy Lynn Arnold and Jon Arnold.
Funeral services were held at 11:00 A.M., Saturday, June 11, 2022, at the Heinlein-Brown Funeral Home, Logan, Ohio with Pastor Scott Smith officiating. Burial was in Greenlawn Cemetery, Nelsonville, Ohio.
