Richard Eugene Talbert age 57, passed away at his home on January 9, 2021 in Nelsonville, Ohio.
Richard was survived by two sisters, Robin (Tim) Laubensheimer of Gallaway, Ohio, and Katie Barnhill of Columbus, Ohio; children, Jessie (Colton) Cordle of Nelsonville, Ohio, Ashley Talbert, Elisha (Bert) Edwards of Hamden, Ohio, Sierra Talbert of Columbus, Ohio, and Lakota Talbert of Columbus, Ohio; 11 grandchildren, Austin, Alex, Rashawna (Seth), Preston, Adaline, Alaina, Abbagail, and Ashton; 2 great-grandchildren, Ryder Heizer and Everleigh Gillespie; many nieces and nephews; and good friend, Tony Carey.
Richard was preceded in death by his parents, Granvill and Mary Talbert; sister, Diana Talbert Atwood; 2 brothers, Robert and Granvill Talbert; and service dog Taffy.
Richard achieved many things in his life. He owned a family business called Talbert Services and Maintenance; and worked as a healthcare aid and apartment manager. He loved to speak about the Lord. He also was all about his Native Heritage. Richard was loved by many and will be missed.
Funeral services were held on Thursday January 14, 2020 at 8:00 pm at the Heinlein-Brown Funeral Home in Logan, Ohio with pastor Joshua Cook officiating.
Calling hours were Thursday January 14, 2020 from 2-4 pm and 6-8 pm before the services.
