Robert A. Spencer Sr., age 62, of New Straitsville, Ohio, passed away March 12, 2020 at his residence.
Robert was born December 25, 1957 to Ronald Spencer and Gloria (Yocum) Spencer. He loved his family and really loved his grandkids.
Surviving are his children, Robert (Robin) Spencer Jr. of Nelsonville and Christina Jean Spencer of Nelsonville; grandchildren, T.J. (Brittany Powell) Warren, Nevaeh Sherin, Lindsey Spencer, Karl Warren, Nicholas Mace, Nathan Mace, and Ethan Waddell; great-grandchild Karoline Warren; siblings, Ronald (Tina) Spencer of New Straitsville, Deb (Danny) Withem of New Straitsville, Melissa (Rick) Carpenter of New Straitsville, Laura (Harold) Queen of Carbon Hill, Susan (Fritz) Miller of New Straitsville, and Steve (Chris) Spencer of Glouster; and former wife Eva Haines of New Straitsville.
Robert was preceded in death by his parents; sister Betty Withem; and brother-in-law Denny Withem.
Funeral services were held at 4:00 P.M., Sunday, March 15, 2020 at the Brown Funeral Home, Murray City, Ohio with Rev. David Edgell officiating.
Calling hours were observed on Sunday, March 15, 2020 from 2-4 P.M. at the funeral home.
