Walter C. Perry

Walter C. Perry, age 73, of Rockbridge, Ohio, passed away June 7, 2019 at Hocking Valley Community Hospital, Logan, Ohio. 

Walter was born September 1, 1945 in Wayne, West Virginia to Nathan Perry and Wilda Marie Fields. He was the pastor of the Full Gospel Deliverance Chapel in Ashville; sang at gospel events in Ohio, Kentucky and West Virginia; recorded at TBM; liked to tinker. 

Surviving are his wife of 35 years, Pamela Perry; daughters, Colene (Doug) Ross of Warsaw, Tammy Bonds of Colorado, and Debbie Jo Rock of Colorado; son, Nathan Perry of Greenback, TN; step-daughter, Dawniel (Jay) Newlon of Winterhaven, FL; step-son, Brett (Stephanie) Roush of McArthur; grandchildren, Joseph, Mark, Alax,Jaeden, Parker, Penelope, Mimi, Jaci, Reese, and Jack; great-grandson, Zeke; and siblings, Rose (Curt) Snodgrass of Ironton, Jean (Ray) Braggs of Wayne, Indiana, Sadie Charles of Michigan, Irene Martinez of Obetz, Helen (Ted) Willis of Columbus, and Kelly Perry of Vinton. 

Walter was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Lona Mae Vance; brother, Sam Perry; and nephew, Johnnie Martinez. 

Arrangements were by Heinlein-Brown Funeral Home, Logan, Ohio. 

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to the funeral home to help with expenses.
