George Francis “Frank” Whiteman, age 71, of New Marshfield, Ohio, passed away May 16, 2022, at Riverside Methodist Hospital, Columbus, Ohio.
Frank was born February 19, 1951, in Athens County, Ohio. He loved playing horseshoes; was an ordained minister; loved building trucks and cars; had a passion for clocks; loved mowing grass; loved family gatherings; was a very giving person, would help anyone in need; and loved helping his grandkids.
Surviving are his children, Robin (Wayne) Withrow of Nelsonville, Tracy (Sharon/Ollie) Allbaugh of Nelsonville, Jacqueline (Steve) Allbaugh of Fredricktown, Jerry Allbaugh of Bluefield, West Virginia, Virgie (Chris) Whiteman of Nelsonville, William Yates of North Carolina, and motor mouth, Tammy Miller; siblings, Tim (Kitty) Whiteman of Lancaster, Sandy (Dave) Coen of New Marshfield, Mimi Bruce of The Plains, Karen (K.K.) Moore of Carbondale, Mary (Pat) Mace of Athens, Polly (Clem) Mace of Nelsonville, Mart (Mike) Six of The Plains, Bill (Tina) Cartel of Dundas, Mike Whiteman of Lancaster, Anna O’Rourke of Carbondale, and John Whiteman of Columbus; 28 grandchildren, including George, Domonique, and Cody Whiteman; 51 great-grandchildren; daughter-in-law, Beth Whiteman of West Virginia; and his fur baby, Rascal.
Frank was preceded in death by his wife of 45 years, Jackie Whiteman; daughter, Brenda Allbaugh; son, Frankie Whiteman; mother, Vivian “Beanie” Whiteman; father, George “Dutch” Whiteman; brothers, Bob Whiteman, Pat Whiteman, and Tony Whiteman; sisters, Linda Perkins, and Debbie Whiteman; and nieces and nephews, Jessie Bailey, Candy Marshall, Crystal Carr, and Anthony O’Rourke.
Funeral services were held at 2 pm, Friday, May 20, 2022, at the Warren-Brown Funeral Home, Nelsonville, Ohio with Jacqueline Allbaugh officiating.
Calling hours were observed 10 am – 12 noon on Friday, May 20, 2022, at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to the funeral home to help with Frank’s funeral expenses.
