Margaret “Sis” L. Willison, age 67, of Nelsonville, Ohio, passed away March 11, 2023, at Riverside Methodist Hospital, Columbus, Ohio.
Sis was born April 3, 1955, in Athens County to George Auflick and Cathrine Noice. Sis loved to cook, care for others, talking on the phone, playing rummy, do crossword puzzles, and watch scary movies and Days of Our Lives.
Surviving are her children, Sandra Carpenter, Teresa (Chad) Hale, Dink (Priscilla McGrath) Willison, and Jessica Willison; grandchildren, Julia Carpenter, Alexander Carpenter, Sabrina (James) Owens, Brooklyn Kesterson, Marissa Kesterson, Jordan Willison, Christopher Willison, Jeremiah Willison, Dustin Willison, and Destiny Lanning; great-grandchildren, Alayna Emans, Kenny Owens, Riella Henslee, and Mateo Willison; nieces, Wendy Auflick and Kelsie Auflick; nephews, Robert Auflick, Chris Auflick, and Bub (Jody) Auflick; partner, Mike Haines; friends, Anna O’Rourke, Peggy Tomshaw, George Adams, Gary Welch, Steve Carpenter, and several others; and dog, Lady.
Sis was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Delbert Auflick; dogs, Gizmo and Buddy; and several aunts and uncles.
Calling hours were observed 11 A.M.-1 P.M. on Thursday March 16, 2023, at the Warren- Brown Funeral Home of Nelsonville, Ohio.
Funeral services were held at 1:00 P.M., Thursday March 16, 2023, at the Warren-Brown Funeral Home, Nelsonville, Ohio. Burial was in Greenlawn Cemetery, Nelsonville, Ohio.
