Lloyd E. Hartshorn Sr., of Glouster, Ohio passed away August 26, 2015 at O’Bleness Hospital, Athens, Ohio. Lloyd was born February 4, 1947 in Logan, Ohio to Everett and Mildred Hartshorn. He served in the 82nd Airborne in the US Army; and was a member of the Jacksonville VFW. Surviving are his wife, Starla Tabler; daughters, Tonya (Shawn)Phillips of Buchtel, and Tanna Brett of Glouster; sons, Lloyd (Angela) Hartshorn Jr. of Mt Vernon, and Cory Hartshorn of Mt Vernon; mother, Mildred Hartshorn of South Perry; 23 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; brother, Larry (Tammy) Hartshorn of Galipolis; and sister, Jackie (Dewey) Bias of South Perry. Lloyd was preceded in death by his father; and sisters, Sandy Harr, Juanita Murphy, and Jayne Gerhart. No services were held. Arrangements were by Brown Funeral Home in Murray City.
