Jerry Ray McKee Sr., 66, of Somerset, Ohio passed away August 13, 2015 at his daughter’s residence in Crooksville, Ohio. Jerry was born May 7, 1949 in Athens County, Ohio to Everett and Christie McKee. Surviving are his wife, Linda McKee; sons, Virgil Scott (Martha) McKee and Jerry Ray McKee II; daughter, Ruth Colleen (Anthony) Hill;grandchildren Alex, Christie, Cynthia, Hayle, Angel, Ryan, Lucas, Sonny, Jasmine McKee, Amista and Seth Hill; great-grandchild Phoenix Miron brother and sisters Frank and Barb McKee, Rodney and Alice McKee, Stella and Kieth Ricker, Joe and; Barb McKee, Paul and Cheryl McKee, Trudie and Gary Gardner, Lori McKee Graham; and a special friend Sonny Swank. Jerry was preceded in death by his mother and father Christie and Everett; brother named Wilbur, and a dear friend Raymond Dennis. Funeral services were held 3:30 pm Sunday August 16, 2015 at the Brown Funeral Home Murray City, Ohio with Rev. Dr. Randy Hardman officiating. Calling hours were observed Sunday 12noon-3:30pm at the funeral home.
