John W. Shover, 78, of Philo, Ohio passed away
September 5, 2018 at his residence.
John was born April 30, 1940 in Athens County, Ohio to Denver L. and A. Marie
Shover. He was a 1958 Jacksonville-Trimble High School graduate; and a member
of Unity Nazarene in McConnelsville.
Surviving are his wife, whom he married on June 2, 1962, Linda L. Shover;
daughters, Mary Lou, Ruth Ann, and Abigail F.; 6 grandchildren; 11
great-grandchildren; brothers Gene (Sharon) Shover and Robert (Shirley) Shover;
sister Janice Sutton; and sister-in-law Mary Shover.
John was preceded in death by his parents; 2 brothers; and 4 sisters.
Funeral services were held at 1:00 pm, Saturday, September 8, 2018 at the Brown
Funeral Home, Murray City, Ohio.
Calling hours were observed Saturday, September 8, 2018 from 11:00 to time of
service.
