Robert Lee Kimmey, age 50, of Nelsonville, Ohio, passed away July 30, 2024, at Cleveland Clinic, Cleveland, Ohio.
Robert was born July 24, 1974, in Athens, Ohio. He liked watching wrestling and hanging around family in the garage; and enjoyed time with his cat.
Surviving are his mother, Betty Gilkey-Powell; brother, Elmer Kimmey Jr; sister, Lisa Kimmey-McCoy; nephews, Jr. Kimmey, Travis Kimmey, Trevor Kimmey, and Connor Kimmey; aunt & uncle, Nancy & John Kimmey; close cousin, Jeffrey Adams; and his pet, Fat Cat.
Robert was preceded in death by his father, Elmer F. Kimmey Sr.
Funeral services were held at 1:00 P.M., Wednesday August 7, 2024, at the Warren-Brown Funeral Home, Nelsonville, Ohio. Burial was in Greenlawn Cemetery, Nelsonville, Ohio.
Calling hours were observed 11 am – 1 pm Wednesday at the funeral home.
