Betty Jean Vollmer, age 89, of Logan, Ohio, passed away October 7, 2024, at The Pickering House in Lancaster, Ohio.
Jeanie was born October 14, 1934, in Milford, Ohio to Joseph and Lucille Pierson. In Jeanie’s younger years, she enjoyed going camping, hunting, and fishing. She was a devoted wife to Roger and enjoyed spending time with her beloved family, especially the grandchildren. Jeanie was also a member of the Shepard of the Valley church for many years.
Surviving are husband, Roger Vollmer; children, Lucille (Mike) Seney, Ernie Gutman, and John (Dawn) Gutman; 2 stepchildren; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Jeanie was preceded in death by parents, Joseph and Lucille Pierson, and siblings, Ellen Dyer and Jody Pierson.
Funeral services will be held at 6:00 PM, Monday, October 14, 2024, at the Shepherd of the Valley Church of Logan, Ohio, with Andy Stine and Sheryl Rawlings officiating. Cremation will follow services.
Calling hours will be observed from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM on Monday, October 14, 2024, prior to the service.
