Steven Eugene Kasler, age 65, of The Plains, Ohio, passed away December 7, 2024, at Hickory Creek in The Plains, Ohio.
Steve was born November 20, 1959, in Athens, Ohio to Melvin Sr. and Dorothy W. Kasler. Steve loved old westerns, country music, and his vehicles, especially the classic cars.
Surviving are his siblings, Linda Thornton, Melvin (Barb) Kasler Jr, Gary Kasler, Carolyn Snyder, and Pam (Matt) Kasler; and nieces and nephews, Lovetta Thornton, Melissa Coleman, James Snyder, Maria Vandergriff, Christopher Wolf, Brad Kasler, Ashley Clark, and Haley Shaw.
Steve was preceded in death by his parents, Melvin and Dorothy Kasler; grandparents; brothers-in-law, Harry Thornton, Tom Snyder; and nephews, Richard Thornton and Chad Kasler.
There will be private services held at the Warren-Brown Funeral Home with burial at Hill Top Cemetery on a future date.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you donate through the funeral home to help with final expenses.
