Doris Jeanne Stotridge, age 81, of Rockbridge, Ohio, passed away December 17, 2024, at Hocking Valley Community Hospital, Logan, Ohio.

Doris was born July 26, 1943, in Chillicothe, Ohio to Emory Mick and Helen McClean Mick. She was a Jehovah Witness; formerly worked at Anchor Hocking; and loved bingo, shopping and playing cards.                        

Surviving are her daughters, Lois (Jerry) Blackstone, Jenni (Woody) Schrader, and Annette West; grandchildren, Heather Blackstone (Brian Primmer), Josh Nelson, Matthew Blackstone, Justin Nelson, Kera Smith (Jimmy Smith), Kaylee West, Benjamin Stotridge, Trinity Stotridge, Danny Stotridge, Shirley Held (Joe Held), Shelly Schrader (Scott Lunsford), and Woody Schrader Jr. (Candace Davis); great-grandchildren, Cody Danielson (Brooke Phillips), Brandon Danielson, Caitlyn Danielson (Xayden Smith), Isabella Nelson, Hayden Blackstone, Emily Blackstone, Ivie Smathers, Leigh Asa Schrader, Lauren Schrader, and Leon Schrader; and great-great-grandbaby Danielson on the way.

Doris was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Ben Stotridge Jr.; son, Gregory “Greg” Stotridge; and sister, Janice Guess.

Funeral services were held at 2:00 P.M., Sunday December 22, 2024, at the Heinlein-Brown Funeral Home, Logan, Ohio with Jim Leonard officiating. Burial was in Knollwood Cemetery, Logan, Ohio.

Calling hours were observed 12:30 – 2 pm on Sunday at the funeral home.
