Mary E. Frisby, age 85, of The Plains, Ohio, passed away March 6, 2025, at her home.

Mary was born February 27, 1940, in Carbondale, Ohio to Edward Jolley and Laura Frisbie. Mary loved to go shopping and a good party. She enjoyed playing bingo and collecting photos.

Surviving are her house mates, friends at HAVAR, and family of First United Methodist Church in Nelsonville.

Mary was preceded in death by parents; special friend, Kathie Wright, who was one of Mary’s many care takers for over 15 years; and Margret Eggleston and Donna Skivers, who Mary shared a home with for many years.

Funeral services were held at 11:00 AM, Wednesday, March 12, 2025, at the First United Methodist Church of Nelsonville, Ohio with Rev. Dave Roach officiating. Burial was in Conner Cemetery in Buchtel, Ohio. 

Calling hours were observed from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM on Wednesday, March 12, 2025, prior to the service at the church.
