Linda Lou Mathena, 77, of Nelsonville, Ohio passed away March 29, 2018 at her residence, surrounded by her family. Linda was born May 24, 1940 in Buchtel, Ohio to Lewis and Alice Mae Calvert. She was a 1958 graduate of Buchtel High School; and formerly worked at Stoltz Drug Store and Super Thrift in Logan, Ohio. Surviving are her daughter, Cindy (Randy) Mathena- Theisen of Logan; son, James Mathena of Chauncey; 9 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and brothers, Monty (Barbara) Calvert of Sarasota, Fl, and James “Steve” (Kim) Calvert of Logan. Linda was preceded in death by her parents; husband, James Mathena, who passed away in 1991; an infant sister; and daughter-in-law, Rhonda Mathena, who died in 2001. Private services were held. Burial was in Whitmore Cemetery, Buchtel, Ohio. A Special thank you to Ohio Health Hospice.
