Connie Lou Taylor, 68, of Nelsonville, Ohio passed away November 8, 2018 in Nelsonville, surrounded by family and friends.
Connie was born January 15, 1950 in Athens, Ohio. She was a graduate of Mechanicsburg High School in Athens; enjoyed spending time with her family; enjoyed gardening and quilting; and she had a smile for everyone she met.
Surviving are her son Richard Kevin (Judy) Taylor Bluefield, VA; grandchildren, Richard Alexander (Denisha) Taylor of Nelsonville, Trish Setser of Outerbanks, NC, Jessica Minton of Bluefield,VA, and Peggy Belcher of Bluefield, VA; great-grandchildren, Jaxon, Kadence, Searra, Mykah, Angeleah, London, Izeah, Braden, Kendall, and Mia; brother John (Betty) Coe; sister Maggie Gabbard; and several nieces and nephews, including Jaala (John) Perry and their children Taylor and Tanner, with whom she made her home.
Connie was preceded in death by Carl and Edith Coe, who raised her; husband of 47 years, James Richard Taylor; and mother, Luella Six.
There were, on Sunday, November 11, 2018, a gathering for family and friends, at 11 AM at Rocky Community Room and funeral services at 5:00 pm, at the Warren-Brown Funeral Home, Nelsonville, Ohio, with Rev. Bill Hunter officiating. Burial was in New Marshfield Cemetery, New Marshfield, Ohio.
