Roberta Jo Taylor 47, of Buchtel, Ohio passed away January 9, 2015 at her residence. Roberta was born December 31, 1967 in Athens Co., Ohio to Ray and Kathleen Taylor. She always liked to help people and would do without to help someone else; attended Nelsonville-York Schools. Surviving are her parents, Ray Taylor Sr. & Kathleen “Kathie” Taylor of Buchtel; sons, Aarron (Chrissy) Rosser of Nelsonville, and Holden Taylor of Buchtel; longtime special friend, Joe Dunn of Buchtel; 2 grandchildren, Gerald Anthony Rosser, and Kathleen S. Rosser, both of Nelsonville; sisters, Teresa (Michael) McCombs of Athens, and Patricia Rae Taylor of Buchtel; and special friends, Shane Mitchell and Audrey Decker. Roberta was preceded in death by brother, Ray (R.G.) Taylor, who passed away September 12, 2003; grandparents, Mary & Robert Landis, and James & Thelma Taylor. Funeral services were held at 11:00 am Tuesday January 13, 2015 at the St. Mary of the Hills Catholic Church in Buchtel, Ohio with Fr. Christopher Foxhoven officiating. Calling hours were observed Monday from 2-4 and 6-8 pm at the Warren-Brown Funeral Home in Nelsonville. A Christian Wake Service was held Monday at 6:00 pm at the funeral home.
