Grace Ann Wooten, 74, of Nelsonville, Ohio passed away April 5, 2015 at Arthur James Hospital, Columbus, Ohio. Grace was born May 27, 1940 in Murray City, Ohio to James and Doris Meredith. She was a 1958 graduate of Murray City High School; retired from the Ohio University; member of the First United Methodist Church in Nelsonville. Surviving are her husband of 53 years, Jack D. Wooten; son, Greg (Mary Jo) Wooten of Lancaster; daughters, Jackie (Chris) Jewett of Rockbridge, and Becky (Joel) Speelman of Glouster; grandchildren, Courtney Wooten, Chris Wooten, Tyler Speelman, Alivia Speelman, and Isaac Speelman; sister, Marcelyn (Paul) Dixon of Logan; and sister-in-law, Judy (Richard) Barber of Murray City. Grace was preceded in death by her parents; and brother, Bob Meredith and his wife Donna. Funeral services were held 11:00:00 AM Wednesday April 8, 2015 at the Warren-Brown Funeral Home Nelsonville, Ohio with Rev. Karen Walters officiating. Burial was in Greenlawn Cemetery, Nelsonville, Ohio. Calling hours were observed Tuesday 2-4 & 6-8 pm at the funeral home.
