Donald Lee Cozad, age 80, of Logan, Ohio, passed away October 19, 2021 at his home after a brief illness.
Donald was born November 3, 1940 in Logan, Ohio to Harland Leonard and Ruby Marie Murphy Cozad. He was a 1957 graduate of Rockbridge High School. Donald married Judith Mae Hamilton on August 20, 1960 and worked at Logan Clay from 1957 until his retirement in 2004. He attended Gateway Church.
Surviving are his son Todd (Jackie) Cozad of Logan; daughter Tamii (Rob) Coakley of Logan; grandchildren, Amanda (Nicholas) Dilley, Todd James (Jessica) Cozad, Jonathon (Leanne) Cozad, Miranda (Dustin) Robison, Hannah (Tyler) Taylor, Jennifer Graham, Noah (Abbie) Graham, and Jordanna (Cris) Evans; 14 great-grandchildren; sisters, Patty (Skip) Rhoads of Logan and Anita (David) Lester of Lancaster; and several nieces and nephews.
Donald was preceded in death by his parents; wife Judy, who passed away in 2001; son Donald Troy, who passed away in 1962; in-law’s Mark & Velma Hamilton; granddaughter Jessica Coakley; and great-grandson Grady James Cozad.
Funeral services were held at 1:00 P.M., Monday, October 25, 2021 at the Heinlein-Brown Funeral Home, Logan, Ohio with Pastor Don Downs officiating. Burial was in Knollwood Cemetery, Logan, Ohio.
Calling hours were observed on Sunday, October 24, 2021 from 2-4 and 6-8 pm at the funeral home.
