Cornelius “Neal” Dillon, 93, of Lancaster, Ohio passed away April 3, 2018 at Pickering House, in Lancaster, Ohio. Neal was born January 5, 1925 in Maxville, Ohio to Samuel and Annabelle Dillon. He was a member of the Peace United Methodist Church, Kentucky Colonels, Logan Masonic Temple, and the Aladdin Shriners. Surviving are his wife of 73 years Fern Dillon of Lancaster; daughter Lisa (Douglas) Stafford of Columbus; sons, Steve (Rhonda) Dillon of Columbus, and Craig (Terri) Dillon of Parkersburg, WV; 16 grandchildren, and 7 great-grandchildren. Neal was preceded in death by his parents; sons Jeffrey and Vincent; brother Leo Dillon; sister Burdella Garrett; and great-grandson Rowan Carpenter. Funeral services were held at 11:00 am, Saturday, April 14, 2018 at the Heinlein-Brown Funeral Home, Logan, Ohio with Rev. Rick Bennington officiating. Burial was in Ebenezer Cemetery. Calling hours were observed from 10:30 am till time of service.
