Bettie J. Hurley, age 100, of Logan, Ohio, passed away May 31, 2022, at Pickering House, Lancaster, Ohio.
Bettie was born November 1, 1921, in Logan, Ohio to Irvin W. and Christina Frasure. She was a member of the Pickerington VFW Auxiliary and Moose. Bettie worked many years at the Lenox Inn in Pickerington, Ohio. She attended Trinity Lutheran Church of Logan with her sister. Bettie loved working in her flower beds outdoors and enjoyed going dancing.
Surviving are step-son Michael (Johnna) Hurley of Apple Valley; 3 step-grandchildren; several step-great-grandchildren; sister Patricia “Pat” E. Kline; sisters-in-law Pat Funk and Risa Hurley; and several nieces and nephews.
Bettie was preceded in death by her parents; husband of 49 years Donald L. Hurley; and siblings, Walter “Curly” L. Frasure, Charles “Boxie” E. Frasure, Irvin “J.R.” Frasure Jr., Waveline M. Gibbs, and Freida L Sayre; brother-in-law Donald Kline; and sister-in-law Gladys Frasure.
Funeral services were held at 1:00 P.M., Friday, June 3, 2022, at the Heinlein-Brown Funeral Home, Logan, Ohio with Pastor Koch officiating. Burial was in Oak Grove Cemetery, Logan, Ohio.
Calling hours were observed on Friday, June 3, 2022, from 11:00 am to time of service at the funeral home.
