Paul E. Jones, 89, of Rockbridge, Ohio passed away June 13, 2018 at Fairfield Medical Center, Lancaster, Ohio. Paul was born November 21, 1928 in Meigs County, Ohio to Harold and Carol Jones. He was a lifetime salesman; and worked at Kebler Company, Logan Trailer Sales, Oggs Wholesale, and Gold Smith Black. Surviving are his wife JoAnn Jones of Rockbridge; children, Paula (Rick) Carpenter of St. Cloud, FL, Darrel (Lynn) Jones of Sweethome, OR, Karen Shields of Logan, Michael (Sue) Harden of Logan, and John K. (Christy) Harden of Logan; 9 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren; and siblings, Grace (Ray) Myers of Chillicothe and Walter H. (Karen) Jones of Athens. Paul was preceded in death by his parents; and siblings, Robert L. Jones, Harold Story, and Wayne Jones. Funeral services were held at 1:00 pm, Saturday, June 16, 2018 at the Heinlein-Brown Funeral Home, Logan, Ohio with Pastor Bruce Livingston officiating. Burial was in Knollwood Cemetery, Logan, Ohio, where Military Graveside services were held by the Hocking County Honor Guard. Calling hours were observed Friday, June 15, 2018 from 6-8 pm and Saturday, June 16, 2018 from 12:00 Noon to time of service, at the funeral home.
