Violet Eileen Lehman, 90, of Logan passed away May 1, 2018 at Crestview Rehabilitation, Lancaster, Ohio. Violet was born December 8, 1927 in Logan, Ohio to the late Jackson L. and Florence B. (Harper) Harble. Violet attended West End School and Logan High School, graduating in 1946. She was a life time member of the Ebenezer United Methodist Church in Green Township, where she taught Sunday school and was the pianist for many years. Furthermore, she was a member of Venus Chapter #56 O.E.S. and former Green Township Sexton. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband of 67 years, Ernest A. Lehman; sister Vivian Ruffner; infant sister Patricia Harble; and brother Clarence W. Harble. Violet is survived by sister Bonnie Neal of New Straitsville; daughters, Joan Rose of Logan and Vicki (Paul Eddie) Souders of Paxton, FL; son Ernest Alan Lehman of South Bloomingville; grandchildren, Donald (Mindy) Rose Jr., Jeffrey Rose, Rodney (Nicole) Rose, Shannon (Amanda) Rose all of Logan, Eddie Paul Souders of Orlando, FL, and Carmen Souders of Niceville, FL; great-grandchildren, Donald Rose III of Lancaster, Ohio, Jennifer Rose of Lancaster, Troy Rose of Logan, Kyle Rose of Logan, and Sydney Kendrick of Tracy, Minnesota, and Devan Souders of Niceville, FL; great-great-grandson Elijah Rose; and seven nieces and nephews. Funeral services were held at 11:00 am Saturday May 5, 2018 at the Heinlein-Brown Funeral Home, Logan, Ohio with Pastor Dave Sherman officiating. Burial was in Smith Chapel Cemetery, Logan, Ohio. Calling hours were observed Friday 2-4 and 6-8 pm at the funeral home.
