Dorothy L. Mohler, 85, of Logan, Ohio passed away April 14, 2018 at her residence. Dorothy was born October 21, 1932 in Tazewell, Virginia to Earl Thomas and Edith Ruby Bourne. She worked at Sears for 28 years and worked and retired from Smeads. Surviving are her daughter, Lavonda (Michael) Boley of Logan; grandchildren, Christina (Shawn Gleason) Gill of Lancaster, Shawn Boley of Logan, and Samantha (Martin Elder) Boley of Amanda; 7 great-grandchildren; sister, Evelyn Howdyshell of Logan; son-in-law, William Gill; sister-in-law, Arleen Fuller of Lancaster; and many nieces and nephews. Dorothy was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond F. Mohler, who passed away February 27, 2006; daughter, Teresa Gill; brothers, Earl Thomas Bourne Jr., Vernon Bourne, Jerry Alan Bourne, and William M. Bourne Sr.; and sister, Gladys Ann Mayberry. Funeral services were held at 11:00 am, Thursday, April 19, 2018 at the Heinlein-Brown Funeral Home, Logan, Ohio with Rev. Phillip Westenbarger officiating. Burial was in Ebenezer Baptist Cemetery, Maxville, Ohio. Calling hours were observed Wednesday, April 18, 2018 from 2-4 and 6-8 pm at the funeral home.
