Nikita Marie Dye, age 22, of Union Furnace, Ohio, passed away January 6, 2023, at home surrounded by family.
Nikita was born June 2, 2000, in Logan to Charles Robert Dye and Angela Marie Cottrill. She was a 2018 graduate of Logan-Hocking High School; a member of Union Furnace United Methodist Church; and she loved being an aunt and taking care of her cat Mazie.
Surviving are her parents and stepfather, Robert Cottrill; siblings; Charles Dye, Beau Dye, Georgia Dye, and Melvin Dye; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held at 1:00 P.M., Wednesday, January 11, 2023, at the Heinlein-Brown Funeral Home, Logan, Ohio with Rev. Dr. Randy Hardman officiating. Burial was in Knollwood Cemetery, Logan, Ohio.
Calling hours were observed from 5 to 8 P.M. on Tuesday, January 10, 2023, at the funeral home.
