Raymond Roy Phillips, age 64, of Mt. Pleasant, Ohio, passed away January 10, 2019 at Fairfield Medical Center, Lancaster, Ohio. Ray was born January 31, 1954 in Matewan, West Virginia to Raymond Paul Phillips and Billie Jo Taylor. He was a member of the United Methodsit Church in Mt. Pleasant. Surviving are daughter Elizabeth E. Phillips; his mother Betty Jo Feyh; 5 grandsons; and sisters, Sandra (Lee) Lindsey of Alabama, D. Louise (John) Dest of Georgia and Penny (Larry) James of Johnstown, OH. Ray was preceded in death by his father Raymond Paul Phillips; and brother Randall B. Phillips. Funeral services were held at 1:00 P.M., Tuesday, January 15, 2019 at the Heinlein-Brown Funeral Home, Logan, Ohio with Rev. Dr. Randy Hardman officiating. Burial was in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Mt. Pleasant, Ohio. Calling hours were observed from 11 am to time of service on Tuesday, January 15, 2019 at the funeral home.
